Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the UnLingo mobile application or website. By accessing or using UnLingo, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
UnLingo is an AI-powered English language learning application available on iOS and Android. It provides structured lessons, vocabulary tools, grammar explanations and adaptive exercises for learners at CEFR levels A0 through C1.
UnLingo is operated as a sole trader registered in Ireland.
You must be at least 13 years old to use UnLingo. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or guardian.
To use UnLingo, you sign in with your Google or Apple account. You are responsible for:
You may have only one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to abuse free trials or promotions is prohibited.
Free tier: A selection of content is available free of charge, including the beginner (A0) level, selected introductory lessons, the vocabulary library with basic practice, the Oxford 5000 word trainer and word games. The specific content available for free is indicated in the app and may change over time.
Premium subscription: A paid subscription unlocks the full course (levels A1–C1), AI-powered exercises, the full story library, AI grammar exercises, AI vocabulary practice and full Speaking Club access. Subscription pricing is displayed in the app before purchase.
We reserve the right to change which features are included in free and paid tiers with reasonable notice.
Refund requests for App Store purchases must be submitted to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refund requests for Google Play purchases must be submitted to Google Play support. We are not able to process refunds directly for in-app purchases.

All content within UnLingo — including lessons, grammar explanations, vocabulary, stories, dialogues, AI-generated exercises, design and code — is owned by or licensed to UnLingo. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from this content without our written permission.
Your learning data (progress, vocabulary scores, achievements) belongs to you. See our Privacy Policy for information on how to export or delete it.
No guaranteed learning outcomes. UnLingo is a self-study tool designed to assist language learning. We make no representations, warranties or guarantees that use of UnLingo will result in any particular level of English proficiency, exam pass, employment outcome or any other specific result. Learning outcomes depend entirely on individual effort, consistency and personal aptitude.
CEFR levels are descriptive only. The CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) levels referenced in UnLingo (A0, A1, A2, B1, B2, C1) are used for descriptive and organisational purposes only to help users choose appropriate content. UnLingo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by the Council of Europe, Cambridge Assessment English, or any other official body responsible for CEFR standards. UnLingo does not issue any official language certificates or qualifications. No content in UnLingo constitutes official CEFR examination preparation unless explicitly stated.
Not a substitute for professional instruction. UnLingo is a supplementary self-study tool and is not a replacement for professional language courses, accredited educational programmes or certified language teachers.
Some exercises, example sentences and practice content in UnLingo are generated by artificial intelligence. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies or culturally inappropriate material. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or suitability of AI-generated content. If you notice an error in an exercise, you can report it using the in-app "Report Error" feature. We review reports and update content regularly, but we cannot guarantee that all content is free from errors at all times.
The use of AI in content generation does not constitute an endorsement of any particular learning methodology or guarantee of pedagogical correctness.
We strive to keep UnLingo available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance or updates.
We reserve the right to modify, add or remove features at any time. For significant changes that affect paid users, we will provide reasonable notice via the app or email.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account). Upon deletion, your subscription will not be automatically cancelled — you must cancel it separately through the App Store or Google Play.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.
UnLingo is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:
You use UnLingo entirely at your own risk. We expressly disclaim all liability for any reliance placed on the content of UnLingo for any purpose beyond personal self-study.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UnLingo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Continued use of UnLingo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
